Last updated: 1 September 2026. This is a sample notice for the NORTHWORKS demonstration site. NORTHWORKS is a fictional name. Before collecting real enquiries, the site operator must replace this sample with a notice describing the actual operator, processing activities, contact channel and applicable requirements.
Information in an enquiry
The default form asks for your name, email address and message. Required fields are marked. If you enquire from a product page, the submission may also identify that product. You choose what to include in the message; please limit it to information relevant to the enquiry.
Purpose and access
The form is designed to store the enquiry so authorised site administrators can review it, record its status and respond through the contact details provided. Administrators can manage and export enquiry records. Submitting this form does not itself subscribe you to a mailing list or complete an order.
Technical operation
The site uses sessions for form validation, confirmation messages and administrator sign-in. Abuse prevention may retain submission timing and a hashed source identifier. Server logs and any additional services depend on the deployment selected by the operator. Their actual scope must be described in the published notice.
Storage, exports and backups
Enquiries are held in the site’s data storage. Authorised administrators may create exports and backups, which can also contain enquiry information. The operator needs to set appropriate access, retention and deletion arrangements for the live site and its copies. This template does not define an automatic deletion period.
Requests about your information
The operator must publish an active contact channel for enquiries about access, correction or deletion and explain how requests are handled. No operational contact address is supplied in this demonstration. For a live site, use the operator’s published contact information and include enough detail to identify the relevant submission.
Changes to this notice
Review the notice when the form, hosting, service providers or use of the information changes. This sample describes the default demonstration workflow and is not a completed legal review or a statement that a particular jurisdiction’s requirements have been met.
