Modular Fixture Platform

The FX240 brings a working surface, reference edges and attachment positions into one compact platform. Interchangeable pins, stops and clamps let teams discuss several workpiece layouts on a common base. The sample configuration is intended to explain a modular fixture approach for assembly, inspection and prototype work.

Separate location from clamping

Locating elements establish the position of the workpiece; clamps maintain that position during the operation. Identify the reference surfaces, contact points and force direction before arranging accessories. Thin sections, delicate finishes and irregular parts may need dedicated supports or protective contact materials.

Make changeovers traceable

A regular grid makes accessory positions easier to document. Keep a numbered layout with each part revision and record the clamp type, spacer height and loading sequence. A photograph helps with orientation, while a controlled drawing retains the dimensions needed for repeatable setup.

Define the engineering inputs

Send a part drawing, the operation to be performed, the available installation space and the expected forces. The final proposal should confirm materials, fastening, stiffness and the required verification method. The demonstration grid does not establish a positioning tolerance or working load.
